A clear brief starts with the garment
Tell us what you are developing and show the intended silhouette, construction and finish. Include the garment category and any important details such as pockets, panels, seams or trims. The team reviews whether the proposed style fits the factory operation before confirming development and production arrangements.
Fabric choice changes the production requirements
Share the fabric composition, weight, construction and stretch where known. If you are still sourcing, explain the hand feel, drape and appearance you want. If you supply your own fabric, include the available quantity and any specifications or test results relevant to the project.
Confirm fit and finishing on a sample
An approved sample provides a concrete reference for the garment. Discuss the measurements, size range, trims, finishing and any required testing before production. If a washed finish is part of the design, identify it early so the fabric response and fit after treatment can be reviewed together.
Plan the order around the style
A first order and a repeat order can have different fabric and production requirements. Tell us your approximate quantity by style and whether later replenishment is planned. Minimums, sampling arrangements, costs and delivery timing are confirmed after the brief has been reviewed; they are not fixed across every woven garment.

Common questions
Can you confirm a quotation from a reference image alone?
An image can start the discussion. A usable quotation also depends on fabric, construction, quantity, finishing and delivery requirements. The team will identify any missing information.
Do I have to source the fabric myself?
You can discuss sourcing needs or client-supplied fabric with PDS. Availability, suitability and order requirements are confirmed for the project.
Can I discuss replenishment after the first run?
Yes. Share the intended reorder pattern so fabric availability and repeat production can be considered when planning the first order.
