Hand finishing a denim garment at the Ligao factory
01

A garment factory and wash house working together

Ligao Jeans has cut, sewn and washed denim in Shunde, Guangdong since 1985. PDS, Prime Denim Supply, is the Hong Kong and overseas desk connecting your brand to that operation. Discuss the fabric, silhouette and wash as parts of the same garment, rather than choosing each in isolation.

02

Start with the product you want to make

Send a reference image or link, a sketch, an existing sample or a tech pack. Explain what matters most: the fit, weight, colour, hand feel or worn-in character. If your design is still developing, a short description is enough to start the conversation. A completed tech pack is not required for the first enquiry.

03

Choose fabric with the finished wash in mind

Fabric construction, weight and stretch affect how a wash looks and how the garment fits afterwards. The team can discuss factory sourcing, client-supplied fabric or original Candiani Denim fabric. Ligao is the mainland China agent for Candiani Denim; availability and suitability are confirmed against your brief.

04

Approve the sample before planning bulk

The workflow moves from the project brief to wash testing, a fit sample and your approval. Use that review to agree the fit and wash reference before production. Final inspection follows cutting, sewing and washing. Any testing requirements, tolerances, packing instructions and delivery destination should be included in the project discussion.

05

Small first orders and repeat production

Discuss a focused first run, an established collection or replenishment. Minimum quantity and timing depend on the style, fabric and wash requirements. There is no single published minimum or fixed turnaround covering every project. If your launch date is important, include it in the first message so feasibility can be reviewed early.

BEFORE YOU ENQUIRE

Common questions

Can I enquire before my tech pack is finished?

Yes. Start with a reference, sketch or product description. The team can identify the details needed for sampling and costing.

What is the minimum order quantity?

Quantity is confirmed for each style, fabric and wash. Tell us the first-run quantity you are considering and whether you plan replenishment.

Can PDS develop the wash as well as make the garment?

Yes. The backing factory has its own wash house alongside garment production. Send a wash reference so the team can discuss development with your fabric and fit.
